DULUTH, Minn. (csssaints.com) – The St. Scholastica men's and women's soccer teams are back at Saints Field on Tuesday when they face Northland College in the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) home opener.

CSS Notes: The Saints recorded their first shutout of the season on Saturday with a 3-0 victory at Bethany Lutheran College … The victory was the 450th in the program's history and also extended the conference unbeaten streak to 112 games … Armin Bobaric (Andover, Minn./Andover HS), Darby Henderson (Duluth, Minn./Duluth East HS) and Alex Dodd (Lakeville, Minn./Burnsville HS) each recorded goals for the second straight game … Sandy Davidson-Hunt (Kenora, Ontario/St. Thomas Aquinas) earned his eighth career shutout … CSS is back atop the conference in goals scored (16) and have recorded 26 more shots than the second-highest team … Luke Buckton (Bath, England/Writhlington School) continues to lead the UMAC with six goals and 15 points.
 
Northland Notes: The LumberJacks (1-4-0, 0-1-0 UMAC) will enter Tuesday's game, losers of two straight … They are coming off a 3-2 loss to Martin Luther College in the conference opener on Saturday … All five goals in that game were scored in the second half … The lone victory of the season for the 'Jacks was a 2-0 decision at Lakeland University (Wis.) on September 7 … Jesse Kahn and Alistair Gibson each have two goals this season … Kahn is tied for the second-most shots in the conference with 20 … Thomas Whiting is the goalkeeper with 35 saves on the year.
