DULUTH, Minn. (csssaints.com) – The St. Scholastica men's and women's soccer teams remain away from Duluth on Saturday when they take on Bethany Lutheran College in Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) action.

CSS Notes: The Saints extended their NCAA record conference unbeaten streak to 111 games on Wednesday with a 6-1 win at North Central University (Minn.) in the UMAC opener … CSS scored five second half goals to break a 1-1 tie at halftime … Luke Buckton (Bath, England/Writhlington School) scored twice and assisted on two others in the victory … He has now recorded at least one goal in four of the team's first five games … Buckton currently leads the UMAC with 15 points, six goals and three assists … Armin Bobaric (Andover, Minn./Andover HS) scored his third goal of the season on Wednesday and is tied for third in the league in that category.
 
BLC Notes: The Vikings (1-3-0, 0-1-0 UMAC) are coming off a 5-0 loss to the University of Northwestern (Minn.) to open UMAC play on Wednesday … Bethany has been shutout in all three of its losses this season … The lone win was a 2-0 victory over Ripon College (Wis.) on Sunday … Jonathan Sehloff and Samuel Duran had the two goals for the Vikings … BLC has been outshot 92-36 in its first four games … Sehloff is averaging 2.5 shots per game … The Vikings have allowed the most goals per game (4.0) in the conference thus far this season.

CSS Notes: The Saints picked up their first victory of the season with a 5-0 decision over North Central University (Minn.) to open conference play on Wednesday … After a scoreless first half of play, the Saints turned it on in the second half, scoring five goals in 12 minutes … Four of those goals were scored by sophomore Becca Rancour (Hutchinson, Minn./Hutchinson HS), who tallied all of her goals in the span of three minutes and 51 seconds … Based on the NCAA Division III record books, Rancour now holds the sixth & eighth fastest times for three consecutive goals scored by the same player in NCAA Division III history … Rancour has scored six goals in the last three games and ranks second in the conference in goals scored and 13 points … Kailee Katt (Esko, Minn./Esko HS (St. Catherine)) has three assists from her defender position, which is tied for second most in the conference … Senior midfielder Reigan Struck (Blaine, Minn./Spring Lake Park HS (Bethany Lutheran)) played for Bethany Lutheran last season and recorded an assist against the Saints.
