CSS 7, Mount St. Joseph 2
The Saints followed the loss by using a seven-run third inning to rally past Mount St. Joseph University (Ohio) 7-2.

The Lions (5-3) took a 2-0 lead thanks to a pair of two-out RBIs in the second and third innings. In the bottom of the third the Saints used a little two-out magic themselves. With runners at the corners, Marjaana Dailey (Duluth, Minn./Duluth East HS) roped a bases-clearing double to tie the game at 2-2.

Chrisi Mizera (Frankfort, Ill./Lincoln-Way East HS) followed with a RBI single to plate Carley Moisio (Hoyt Lakes, Minn./Mesabi East HS) to give CSS a 3-2 lead. After a single and walk loaded the bases, Olivia Bretting (Ashland, Wis. /Ashland HS ) brought home Mizera to make it 4-2. Still with two outs, Bremer hit a two-run single to bring in Samantha Clark (Brule, Wis/Northwestern HS) and Toni Bishop (Roseville, Minn./Roseville HS) to extend the lead to 6-2. It was another RBI single by Rydlund to conclude the scoring in the inning to put the Saints on top 7-2.

Mizera held the Lions in check the rest of the way as the Saints won 7-2. Mizera struck out four and allowed five hits to earn her first win of the season.

Dailey, Mizera and Rydlund each had two hits as eight different Saints recorded hits in the game.
