Kelsey Dickinson (Winthrop, Wash./Liberty Bell HS) recorded a top 10 Central Collegiate Ski Association (CCSA) finish to pace the St. Scholastica women's Nordic ski team in the 5km freestyle race Saturday at the Hilltop Invitational at the Marshall School trails.
The Action
Northern Michigan University continued its dominance this season by sweeping the top four spots overall and the top seven CCSA places. Nicole Schneider took first place overall with a time of 13:18.
After not competing last weekend, Dickinson returned to action and placed 12
th overall, ninth in the CCSA, with a time of 14:28.
Ellie Evans (New Hope, Minn./Robbinsdale Cooper HS) was the next CSS finisher, coming home 17
th overall, 13
th in the CCSA, posting a time of 14:45.
Nicole Gilman (Manitowish Waters, Wis./Lakeland Union HS) was the final Saints skier to score finishing 28
th overall, 15
th in the CCSA, with a time of 15:13.
Allison Ternes (Vadnais Heights, Minn./White Bear Lake HS) and
Greta Jenkins (Palmer, Alaska/Colony HS) also placed in the top 20 among CCSA skiers. Michigan Tech University was second among CCSA teams and the Saints were third.
