SUPERIOR, Wis. (
csssaints.com) – The St. Scholastica women's track & field team had a pair of wins on Saturday at the Twin Ports Invite, hosted by the University of Wisconsin-Superior.
Winners
Hannah Russert (Caledonia, Minn./Caledonia HS ) won the 60m hurdles for the second straight week, posting a winning time of 9.60.
The sprint medley relay of
Mady Urman (Alexandria, Minn./Jefferson HS),
Sammi Argir (Chisholm, Minn./Hibbing HS),
Breanna Shofner (International Falls, Minn./Falls HS) and
Taylor Gibson (La Crescent, Minn./La Crescent HS) won in a time of 4:24.71.
Other Top Performances
The 4x200m relay team of Urman, Shofner, Argir and Russert was runner-up in a time of 1:52.59.
Natalie St. Marie (St. Francis, Minn./St. Francis HS) placed fourth in the weight throw with a toss of 44'3.25" (13.49m).
Katelyn Leiden (Green Bay, Wis./Green Bay West HS) was also fourth in the 200m dash finishing in 28.88. Argir was fifth in the 60m dash, finishing in a time of 8.39.
