DULUTH, Minn. (
csssaints.com) – The University of Wisconsin-River Falls scored a pair of goals in each half as it retained "The Chalice" for the third straight year defeating the St. Scholastica women's soccer team 4-0 on Wednesday at Saints Field.

The Falcons controlled possession for much of the game and scored the first goal in the 20
th minute when a pair passes set up Carrie Anderson for an easy goal in front. Abby Soderholm made it 2-0 River Falls in the 27
th minute with her third goal of the year.
In the second half, Rachel Windingstad scored back-to-back goals a little over three minutes apart to make the final score 4-0.
Roni Rudolph (Duluth, Minn./Duluth East HS (Minnesota-Duluth) ) made eight saves in the loss for the Saints. Erica Cimochowski made three saves for the Falcons.
Rachel Dixon (Superior, Wis./Superior HS ) recorded two shots, including one on goal.
