NORTHFIELD, Minn. (csssaints.com) - The St. Scholastica women's cross country team, led by third place finisher Casey Hovland (North Branch, Minn./North Branch HS), took 10th place in the St. Olaf College Invitational on Saturday.

Top Performances
After a first place finish two weeks ago at the Tom Barry Invitational, Hovland proved her value to the team once more, finishing in third place overall with a time of 22:06, 30 seconds behind the winner of the race and just six seconds off her personal-best time. Jordan Johnson (Poplar, Wis./Northwestern HS), the second scorer for CSS, finished in 71st with a time of 24:47. Not far behind her was Elizabeth Poskie (Cotton, Minn./South Ridge HS), who ended the race in 95th finishing in 25:04.
Kelsey Dickinson (Winthrop, Wash./Liberty Bell HS) finished in 116th, with a time of 25:26. Three Saints battled for the fifth-and-final scoring spot with Allison Gusk (Pine City, Minn./Pine City HS) taking it with a time of 26:09, which was good enough for 163rd. Haley Huset (North Branch, Minn./North Branch HS) was right behind her in 164th with the same finishing time of 26:09, while Heidi Carlson (Roseville, Minn./Roseville HS) was just a second behind them at 26:10 in 165th place.
