csssaints.com) - The St. Scholastica women's soccer team suffered a close defeat to the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse 1-0, after being outshot 30-5 on Thursday night.
The Action
CSS got off to a slow start with the Eagles shooting twice on goal in the first six minutes.
A shot on goal would not come for the Saints until 15 minutes into the game. The other two shots on goal would come later in the first half of the game, as there was no shots on goal for the Saints in the second half of the game.
The game-winning goal would be scored in the 30th minute when the Eagles' Natalie Herzog put the ball in the net.

Taylor Olson (Duluth, Minn./Duluth Denfeld HS ) and
Hailey Johnson (Duluth, Minn./Two Harbors HS ) each had a shot on goal for the Saints.
