DULUTH, Minn. (csssaints.com) - On Saturday, the St. Scholastica women's soccer team was defeated 1-0 on its home field as the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh scored the lone goal in the opening two minutes of the second half.
The Action
After a scoreless first 45 minutes of action, which saw the Titans out-shoot the Saints 8-3, the only goal of the game came in the opening moments of the second half. Robyn Elliott settled a bouncing ball behind the Saints defense and beat the keeper far post. The Saints would be out-shot 14-2 in the second half and 22-5 for the game. Oshkosh had nine shots on goal for the day.
