ECSU 2, CSS 1
The Warriors scored two runs in the first two innings and the Saints stranded the tying run at third in the top of the seventh in a 2-1 loss.

Eastern Connecticut State recorded a pair of RBI singles in the first two innings to take a 2-0 lead.

St. Scholastica had a runner thrown out at the plate in the top of fifth, but were able to get out of a bases loaded jam in the bottom frame.

The Saints made things interesting in the seventh. After two quick outs, the Saints got a single from Maggie Schley (Mounds View, Minn./Irondale HS) followed by a double by Kara Warren (Duluth, Minn./Duluth Denfeld HS) to put runners at second and third. Rendi Johnson (Bonney Lake, Wash./Bonney Lake HS) followed with a single to bring in Schley and cut the lead to 2-1. However, the rally ended there as the Saints flied out to end the game.

Warren was 2-for-2 at the plate. The Saints managed six hits to the Warriors' 10 hits

UWW 4, CSS 1
The Warhawks scored four straight runs in the final three innings to rally past the Saints and win 4-1.

Warren had a one-out triple in the fourth inning. She came in to score when Schley hit a sacrifice fly to center to give CSS a 1-0 lead.

A one-out RBI triple, followed by a RBI single in the top of the fifth gave Whitewater a 2-1 lead. The Warhawks added a pair of run-scoring singles in the top of the seventh to make the final 4-1.

Warren and Hannah Borgeson (Woodville, Wis./Baldwin-Woodville HS) both went 2-for-3 in the loss. Amy Ricci was 4-for-4 for Whitewater.
