The Action
The Pioneers (10-0) got off to a fast start, scoring three runs in the bottom of the first inning. The runs were scored on a two-run triple and a CSS error.

Alexa Bremer (Forest Lake, Minn./Forest Lake HS) also had a RBI single and Micah McGuiness (Forest Lake, Minn./Forest Lake HS) had a two-run double to give St. Scholastica a 5-3 lead.

William Paterson tied the game at 5-5 in the bottom of the third with a two-out, two-run double. The Pioneers then took the lead in the bottom of the fifth when they were able to get a leadoff double and that runner later scored on a sacrifice fly to make it 6-5.
