csssaints.com) – The St. Scholastica women's basketball team fell to St. Olaf College 78-69 Saturday afternoon.
The Saints trailed 43-28 at the half and then 64-41 at the end of the third quarter. However, the Saints outscored the Oles 28-14 in the final period before falling by the nine-point margin.

Holly VanKempen (Elbow Lake, Minn./West Central HS) led the Saints with a season-high 17 points.
Danielle Cieluch (Duluth, Minn./Duluth East HS) added a season-high 13 points and
Mel Weisbrick (Hibbing, Minn./Hibbing HS (Hibbing CC)) added a season-high 12 points.

Ella Skrien led the balanced Oles (5-6) with 15 points as five different St. Olaf players scored in double-figures.
