Casey Hovland (North Branch, Minn./North Branch HS) became the first runner since 2012 to win back-to-back Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) Championships leading the St. Scholastica women's cross country team to its 15
th conference title in the last 16 seasons on Saturday at the Benson Country Club.

Top Performances
Hovland led a trio of Saints in the top three spots beating teammate
Jordan Johnson (Poplar, Wis./Northwestern HS) by nearly two minutes with a personal-best time of 21:49. Johnson edged
Nicole Gilman (Manitowish Waters, Wis./Lakeland Union HS) for second with a season-best time of 23:47. Gilman also posted a season-best time of 23:49 to place third. Hovland, Johnson and Gilman all earn First Team All-UMAC accolades for their performances.
Kelsey Dickinson (Winthrop, Wash./Liberty Bell HS) also finished in the top 10, coming home eighth with a season-best time of 24:22.
Kali Erickson (Duluth, Minn./Duluth Central HS) was the final to Saint to score finishing in 24:55, good enough for 13
th place. Dickinson and Erickson each earn Second Team All-UMAC status.
Just finishing outside the top 15 was
Heidi Carlson (Roseville, Minn./Roseville HS), who was 16
th with a time of 25:20.
Elizabeth Poskie (Cotton, Minn./South Ridge HS) had a top 20 finish, coming in 19
th with a time of 25:36.
