DULUTH, Minn. (csssaints.com) -- The St. Scholastica women's hockey team lost Friday's game by a score of 3-0 to No. 4 Adrian College (Mich.) at Mars Lakeview Arena.

The Action
CSS were not able to gain an offensive advantage throughout the game, only putting three shots together during the first period. The struggle started when Kaylyn Schroka of Adrian College scored on the power-play.

St. Scholastica had their own power-play opportunities, two in the first period, but unfortunately were not able to capitalize.

The Bulldogs went on to score two more goals during the game, both in the second period, and closed the book on CSS, a team who was coming off a clean sweep of St. Norbert College just a week earlier.

St. Scholastica did hold their penalties in check for the most part, committing only three to the Bulldogs five, but could not put enough pressure on the defense of Adrian College to pose a threat at the end of the night, managing only 22 shots to their opponents 42.

Up Next
