Morrin Reaches 1,000-1,000 Club: Senior Kortney Morrin (Grantsburg, Wis./Grantsburg HS (Northern State)) recorded 13 digs on Wednesday night at UWS and in doing so became the fourth known player to record at least 1,000 kills and 1,000 digs in a career.
 
Up Two Sets and Losing: For the second straight year, the Saints lost a match in which they were up two sets … Last season, the Saints fell at home to the University of Northwestern at home … Prior to that, CSS had not lost a match when that happened since 2006.
 
Rematches Not Going as Planned: The Saints are now 0-2 against conference teams that they defeated at the UMAC Preview Tournament in mid-September … CSS fell on the road in three at the University of Minnesota Morris and then on the road again at UWS on Wednesday … The third team CSS beat down in St. Paul, Martin Luther, is this weekend's opponent, once again on the road.
 
Leading the UMAC: Noelle Elvehjem (Mora, Minn./Mora HS) continues to lead the UMAC with a .295 hitting percentage … Danielle Benusa (Shakopee, Minn./Shakopee HS) leads the conference with 57 digs in league matches … Nikki Kienzle (Hermantown, Minn./Hermantown HS) has a conference-best nine block assists in UMAC matches … The Saints as a team remain at the top of the league in hitting percentage (.225).
