St. Scholastica women's soccer team will look to put two tough early losses against #2 Trinity University and #16 Hardin-Simmons behind them with a good showing in the Cobber Classic…The Saints finished the 2013 Cobber Classic with a 3-0loss to Concordia and a 2-0 victory over Simpson College. Saints junior goalkeeper Kelsey Reeves (Eagle River, Alaska/Eagle River HS ) currently leads the UMAC in saves with 21…Sophomore midfielder Kirsten Olsen (Ham Lake, Minn./Blaine HS ) has the lone goal for CSS during the 2014 season…In its last three matchups St. Scholastica women's soccer has a 0-2-1 record against Concordia College…This is the Saints only scheduled contest with Concordia College and Wheaton College on the season.

The Thunder opened their 2014 campaign by sweeping Hope College and Alma College in the Bob Baptista Invitational by scores of 4-1 and 6-2 respectively ... Wheaton is ranked sixth in the current National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) poll ... Wheaton will look to build off a strong 2013 season which they finished 20-2-2 overall with a 6-1-0 record in conference play ... Sophomore midfielder Sarah Frey currently leads the Thunder in scoring with two goals and one assist on the year.
 
Concordia College Cobbers
The Cobbers have started the 2014 season with back to back 1-0 overtime victories over a pair of Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference teams Wisconsin-Stevens Point and Wisconsin-Oshkosh ... Concordia is currently ranked No.18 in the national rankings ... Additionally, Concordia will return eight starters from last year's team and will look to make the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference playoffs for the 12th consecutive season.
