The Saints volleyball team is coming off of a 3-1 weekend in Oshkosh, Wisconsin … They dropped their first game of the UW-Oshkosh Pizza Hut Classic to Dominican University, then went on to sweep the three remaining teams which were Maranatha Baptist, Finlandia, and Lawrence … The Saints will be coming into the game against Martin Luther with a nine set win streak … The leading performers over this past weekend were Kortney Morrin (Grantsburg, Wis./Grantsburg HS (Northern State)) (43 kills, 33 digs), Jen Hortness (Little Falls, Minn./Little Falls HS) (40 kills), Christaia Houser (Esko, Minn./Homeschool) (11 blocks), Danielle Benusa (Shakopee, Minn./Shakopee HS) (33 digs), and Erica Birkeland (64 assists).
Sweep or Bust: CSS has won all five of its matches by sweeps this season.
Block Party: The Saints' Gloria Ohaju (Duluth, Minn./Duluth Central HS) is the conference leader in blocks per set with 1.16, a far gap between her and second place holder Rylee Weisensel of Martin Luther with a stat of .76.
Series History: The Saints have the upper hand on Martin Luther in the overall head-to-head series with a record of 46-32 ... CSS also holds an advantage over Bethany Lutheran in the all-time series with a winning record of 15-8.
