Complete ResultsST. PETER, Minn. (csssaints.com) – The St. Scholastica women's track & field team won seven events and broke one program record on Saturday at the Lee Krough Invitational, hosted by Gustavus Adolphus College.
Freshman
Jadyn Bonasera (Princeton, Minn./Princeton HS) set the program record in the discus throw with a toss of 136'5" (41.58m). She beat the rest of the field by nine feet and that mark is currently ranked in the top 15 in NCAA Division III this season.
Brittany Ludwig (Alexandria, Minn./Jefferson HS) was third in that event.
The 4x400m relay team of
Emily Lundgren (Aitkin, Minn./Aitkin HS),
Laurel Ohaju (Duluth, Minn./Duluth Central HS),
Andrea Mogren (Forest Lake, Minn./Forest Lake HS) and
Brianna Buske (Bloomer, Wis./Bloomer HS) won with a time of 4:00.37. Ohaju also won the 200m dash in a time of 27.38.
Bre Adams (Crystal, Minn./Robbinsdale Armstrong HS) led a trio of Saints that swept the top three spots in the 800m run with a time of 2:19.68. Buske was second and Lundgren third. Adams was also runner-up in the 1,500m run with a time of 4:58.70.
Becky Huberty (Lena, Wis./Lena HS) swept the shot put and hammer throw events. Huberty won the shot put with a mark of 43'3" (13.18m). Her winning hammer throw toss was 175'5" (53.46m).
Rachael Hoium (Hermantown, Minn./Hermantown HS) won the triple jump with a mark of 33'9.5" (10.30m).
Hannah Russert (Caledonia, Minn./Caledonia HS ) was second in the 100m hurdles, finishing in 16.14.
Brea Durovec (Meadowlands, Minn./Floodwood HS) was third in that event.
Rachel Harmston (Cook, Minn./North Woods HS) placed third in the 100m dash, posting a time of 13.60.
Nicole Christianson (Coon Rapids, Minn./Coon Rapids HS) placed second in the high jump, clearing 5'3" (1.60m).
Danielle Dickson (Roseville, Minn./Totino Grace HS/Roseville HS) was third in the long jump with a mark of 16'1.5" (4.91m).
The Saints will be at the St. Norbert College Invite on Thursday. Events are scheduled to begin at 2 p.m.
Chelsea Johnson (North Branch, Minn./Chisago Lakes HS) will be competing in the 5,000m run at the Mt. SAC Relays in Walnut, Calif. on Friday.
