Derek Sutliffe (Las Vegas, Nev./Odyssey Charter School (Langley Rivermen-BCHL) ) got the scoring started for St. Scholastica for the second game in a row when he scored his third goal of the year at the 4:25 of the first period.
Derek Hills (Campbell River, British Columbia/Timberline Secondary (Bowling Green State) ) got the assist on the play.
The Raiders would answer back with two goals to take a 2-1 lead heading into the second period. Eric Tien tied the game at 1-1 with his first goal of the season 5:04 from Logan Bauman and Omar Mullan. Then Jerad Tafoya gave MSOE the lead at 18:47 of the first period from Evan Wilson.
The second period opened with each team scoring a goal before St. Scholastica would explode for three unanswered goals.
