Kelsey Sorenson-Giffrow (Braham, Minn./Braham HS (Minn. Duluth)) leads the way offensively for CSS, averaging 12.2 points per contest while shooting over 47 percent from beyond the arc. She ranks 14th in NCAA Division III in 3-point percentage and is 15th in the country in free throw percentage (.906).

Mariah Hovick (Prior Lake, Minn./Prior Lake HS) and
Erin Frase (Phillips, Wis./Phillips HS (UW-River Falls)) have also been key contributors. Hovick is second in scoring with 9.7 points and leads the team with 5.7 rebounds per contest. Frase is close behind, averaging 9.4 points and 5.4 boards per game.
-The Saints had turnover troubles in the non-conference season, averaging 19.8 per contest.
-CSS is 4-1 when leading at the half this season.
-CSS was picked first in the UMAC Coaches' Preseason Poll. Last season, the Saints finished fourth in conference play and defeated Minnesota Morris and Martin Luther on the road to win the UMAC Tournament Championship.

-Northland looks to open conference play with a victory after downing the Mount Mary Blue Angels 54-39 at home on Thursday.
-The LumberJills have been led by Theresa Stewart, who averages 10.8 points per game. However, Stewart is shooting 35.2 percent from the field and is just 16-59 from three (27.1 percent).
-Northland is averaging 46.2 points per game, while allowing 66.9 points per game. Turnovers have hurt the Jills, as it averages 24.4 per game.
-Alison Blackford and Jessica Jaeckel have also contributed, averaging 9.7 and 9.1 points per game, respectively. Blackford is shooting 36.4 percent from three, while Jaeckel leads the team with 49 percent shooting from the field.
-Northland was picked seventh in the UMAC Coaches' Preseason Poll. Last season, the LumberJills finished sixth in the UMAC and failed to make the conference tournament.
-The Jills are coached by interim head coach Lulu Seelye. Seelye played for the Jills for four years and graduated from Northland in 2012.
