Saints Extend Win Streak to Four

Box Score MORRIS, Minn. (csssaints.com) – The St. Scholastica women's soccer team won its fourth straight game Saturday afternoon defeating Minnesota Morris 1-0 in an Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) contest.

There was no scoring in the first half but, the Saints outshot the Cougars 3-1.

Just one minute and six seconds into the second half forward Shannon Carlson (Woodbury, Minn./Woodbury HS) continued her scoring streak today when she scored her third goal of the season and the only goal of the game.  Carlson was assisted by Casey Mitchell (St. Cloud, Minn./St. Cloud Tech).

Saints goalkeeper Kelsey Reeves (Eagle River, Alaska/Eagle River HS ) had only one save for the whole game giving her a 3-2-1 record and her third shutout of the season.

Follow the Saints (4-2-1, 3-0-0 UMAC) live on Saints Sports Net next Friday, when they host North Central University at 4:15 p.m. at Saints Field.
