Box Score ST. BONIFACIUS, Minn. (csssaints.com) – The St. Scholastica men's basketball team shot 64 percent in the first half and went on to defeat Crown College 72-55 Friday night in Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) play.

The teams exchanged the lead in the first five minutes before Trevor Morlock (Rogers, Minn./Rogers HS (Minn., Crookston)) drained back-to-back 3-pointers to put the Saints up five. That was the start of a 12-2 run. CSS later went on a 14-4 spurt to lead by 17 with four minutes left in the half. St. Scholastica went into the locker room with a 44-31 advantage.

Morlock and Brett Tester (Andover, Minn./Andover HS) combined for 25 of the 44 points for CSS in the half. The Saints made five 3-pointers with Morlock going 3-for-3 from beyond the arc.

The Saints grew the lead to 21 points in the second half and the Storm (9-12, 4-7 UMAC) tried to make a run and got within 12, but that is as close they would get as St. Scholastica prevailed 77-52.
