DULUTH, Minn. (csssaints.com) – The St. Scholastica men's basketball team will host Bridge Rival University of Wisconsin-Superior tonight at the Reif Gymnasium. The game is scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m., following the women's game.
-CSS looks to secure its first win of the season after dropping its first five games. The Saints most recently fell to Bemidji State on Saturday.
-The Saints have been led by
Trevor Morlock (Rogers, Minn./Rogers HS (Minn., Crookston)), who leads the team with 18.3 points per game and 9.5 rebounds.
-St. Scholastica has struggled defensively this season, allowing opponents to shoot 49.2 percent thus far. CSS shoots a respectable 41.4 percent from the field.
-The Saints have also had trouble from the line, as CSS is just 58.1 percent from the stripe this year. Opponents are shooting 78 percent.
-St. Scholastica has not shot well from beyond the arc in the early going (26.1 percent), but have held opponents to just 26.2 percent from three.

-The Jackets also seek their first win, as UW-Superior looks to rebound from an 80-73 road loss at Augsburg on Saturday.
-UWS has been led by seniors Bronson Byrne and Jarrod Peterson. Peterson scored 32 points in the game against Augsburg, while Byrne averages 11.5 points per game.
-Freshman guard Tilyn Hollis has also made an impact, as Hollis averages 11 points per contest.
-UW-Superior has taken care of the basketball this season, as Superior averages just 9.5 turnovers per game.
-The Yellowjackets have been unable to convert from distance this season, as UWS is just 6-of-35 from three this year.
