Box Score DULUTH, Minn. (csssaints.com) – The St. Scholastica women's soccer team capped off an undefeated regular season in UMAC (Upper Midwest Athletic Conference) play with a 4-0 shutout win over Bethany Lutheran on senior day. The win is the 16th consecutive for the Saints, who look to remain hot headed into the UMAC Tournament.

The Saints started the scoring early as Shannon Carlson (Woodbury, Minn./Woodbury HS) scored her 12th goal of the season early in the sixth minute to give CSS the early advantage. Kaylee Benson (Nowthen, Minn./Anoka HS) and Kelsey Kehtel (Duluth, Minn./Duluth East HS) were credited with the assist. Kehtel would then score her 28th goal of the season in the 12th minute off the pass from Claire Lubansky (Chaska, Minn./Chaska HS) to give St. Scholastica a 2-0 lead. Kehtel would record another assist later in the 23rd minute as she found Casey Mitchell (St. Cloud, Minn./St. Cloud Tech) for her 12th goal of the year. The Mitchell goal would be the final goal of the half, as the Saints cruised into halftime with a 3-0 advantage.

CSS would add to their lead in the second half, as Lubansky was on the receiving end of an assist this time, finishing the pass from Carlson. That would be the lone goal of the half, as the Saints completed the perfect conference season with the 4-0 victory. St. Scholastica dominated the contest from start to finish, outshooting the Vikings 26-1. The Saints recognized seniors Taylor Cunningham (Eau Claire, Wis./Eau Claire Memorial HS), Lauren Lynch (Maple Grove, Minn./Maple Grove HS), Lauryn Wilson (Fargo, N.D./Fargo South HS), Logan Williamson (Bloomington, Minn./Jefferson HS), Maggie Dolan (Minneapolis, Minn./St. Anthony Village HS), Shannon Carlson (Woodbury, Minn./Woodbury HS), Kallie Thomas (Duluth, Minn./Duluth East HS) and Claire Lubansky (Chaska, Minn./Chaska HS) for their contributions to the program in their final regular season contest at home.
