DULUTH, Minn. (csssaints.com) – The 13th-ranked St. Scholastica men's hockey team will host Finlandia University (Mich.) this weekend for a two-game Northern Collegiate Hockey Association (NCHA) series at Mars Lakeview Arena.

Paul Marcoux (Brandon, Manitoba /Vincent Massey Collegiate (Waywayseecappo-MJHL) ) recorded two assists.
- CSS special teams were 3-for-7 on the power-play and 2-for-6 on the penalty kill last weekend.
- The power-play unit is 50 percent for the season, which is tops in the conference. The penalty-kill is 15-for-18.

- The Lions are coming off a 4-1 and 3-2 loss against No. 2 St. Norbert College last weekend. In the 3-2 loss the Lions held a 2-1 lead with nine minutes to play in the third period.
- Finlandia fell in the opening weekend against UW-Stevens Point 6-1 and 11-0.
- Goaltender Troy Chandler faced 53 shots last weekend, stopping 46 shots. This season Chandler has saved 127 of 145 shots.
- Scott Vargas and Shigenobu Kakudate scored the Lions three goals last weekend. Kakudate leads the Lions with goals (2).
- The Lions are 0-for-22 on the power-play this season.
