DULUTH, Minn. (csssaints.com) – After a weekend out of conference, the St. Scholastica volleyball team returns to Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) play this weekend going to Crown College on Friday and the University of Minnesota Morris on Saturday.

St. Scholastica Saints
Record: 8-12 (4-3 UMAC)

-The Saints are coming off a 1-3 weekend, falling to both UW-La Crosse and UW-Eau Claire in Eau Claire on Friday, before defeating Moravian and losing to Hamline on Saturday in St. Paul.
-The Saints have posted a 3-4 record thus far in the month of October.
-
Kortney Morrin (Grantsburg, Wis./Grantsburg HS (Northern State)) is currently the team leader in kills per set with 3.22 which also puts her at second in the UMAC. She also is foruth in the conference in total kills with 222.
-In the team's victory over Moravian, Morrian registered 28 kills, which tied a program record for number of kills in a four set match.
-Other UMAC stat leaders include
Alex Barsody (Onamia, Minn./Onamia HS) currently fifth with 3.44 digs per set and
Erika Birkeland (Prior Lake, Minn./Prior Lake HS) who is currently third with .42 service aces per set and 7.81 assists per set.
-The Saints continue to lead the league in digs per set (16.55).

Crown College Storm
Record: 3-19 (2-5 UMAC)

-Crown started the year with 15 straight losses before getting its first win against Northland on September 29th.
-In the last six matches, the Storm have put up a .500 record going 3-3 in that span.
-Shelby Vischer currently leads Crown in kills with 106, and kills per set with 1.96.
-It is currently a two way race for digs with Taylor Urcuyo recording 114 digs, and Shelby Vischer posting 110.

-Every match in this series has gone 3-0 to the Saints except for three with the most recent set win for Crown coming in October of 2012. |

University of Minnesota Morris Cougars
Record: 15-9 (7-0 UMAC)

-After going on an eight game winning streak, the Cougars have lost three of four last weekend in Eau Claire against WIAC programs.
-Before the matchup against the Saints on Saturday, the Cougars will first play Northland College on Friday.
-The Cougars currently have two players leading the UMAC in three separate statistical categories. Kaylie Clark leads the conference in total digs with 454 and digs per set with 5.40, while Hannah Knott leads the conference in hitting percentage with .353.
-The Cougars went undefeated through the first half of conference play with a record of 7-0. Morris is 3-1 at home this season.

-After starting off the rivalry with a 2-6 mark, the Saints have gone 21-4 since the year 2000.
