DULUTH, Minn. (csssaints.com) – The St. Scholastica women's soccer team will face off against Northland College this Saturday at noon at Saints Field in Duluth.

-The Saints have won eight in a row since losing to Concordia College on September 7th in the Cobber Classic tournament in Moorhead, Minn.
-Last weekend the Saints defeated Bethany Lutheran and Martin Luther by scores of 4-0 and 10-0, respectively.
-In the Martin Luther matchup, Junior
Kelsey Kehtel (Duluth, Minn./Duluth East HS) recorded three goals and two assists while teammates
Leah Hamm (Duluth, Minn./Duluth Denfeld HS) and
Taylor Rozmark (Blaine, Minn./Blaine HS ) recorded two goals of their own.
-Kehtel was named the UMAC Offensive Player of the Week. She leads the league with 11 goals and 24 points.
-
Casey Mitchell (St. Cloud, Minn./St. Cloud Tech) has recorded at least one point in each game of the eight-game winning streak.
Shannon Carlson (Woodbury, Minn./Woodbury HS) has recorded at least one point in the last six games, including goals in five of the last six.
-CSS has allowed only seven shots on goal through the first half of the conference season.

Northland College LumberJills

-After winning the first four matches of the season, the LumberJills have won one of their last eight with three ties and four losses.
-Nothland's latest win came at home against North Central when the Jills squeaked out a 1-0 victory back on September 28th.
-The LumberJills have had five players record goals this season, with Sarah Hudson recording seven to lead the team and Weiland currently standing in second with six.
-Senior goalkeeper Jessica Jaeckel has seen all of the action in net this season with a 1.71 goals-against-average and 80 saves.

-The Saints have won 25 matches in a row against the Jills dating back to October of 2001.
