DULUTH, Minn. (csssaints.com) – The St. Scholastica volleyball team steps out of conference play this weekend heads to Eau Claire for a pair of matches on Friday and St. Paul for a pair of matches on Saturday at Hamline.

- The Saints are coming off a sweep Wednesday night as they dominated the Northland LumberJills in Ashland, Wisconsin.

Kortney Morrin (Grantsburg, Wis./Grantsburg HS (Northern State)) had a huge game for the Saints as she registered a team high 18 kills. Those 18 kills are the most any Saints player has had in a match so far this season.
- Morrin is also third in the UMAC in kills per set with an average of 2.91.

Erika Birkeland (Prior Lake, Minn./Prior Lake HS) goes into this weekend's matches on top of the UMAC in service aces per set average with 0.52 and comes in third in assists per set with an 8.33 average.

University of Wisconsin-River Falls Falcons
Record: 11-7 (2-3 WIAC)

- The Falcons latest action was last Saturday against 17th-ranked UW-Whitewater in which they lost in straight sets.
- The Falcons have four players with over 100 kills. Senior Jean Theis leads the team with 161 and Sophomore Lisa Keppers isn't far behind with 151 kills of her own.
- Sophomore Alyssa Anderson leads the team in assists with 354 with freshman Raven Kline also contributing assists with 257 on the season.
- Anderson is seventh in the WIAC in assists per set with a 6.56 average.
- Sophomore Lexi Pingel is sixth in the WIAC in digs per set with an average of 3.91 digs.

University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire Blugolds

- The Blugolds had a tough couple matches this last Saturday with both coming against nationally ranked teams. The first being against #19 Augsburg which they lost in straight sets and the second being against #10 Saint Benedict, who the Saints have played twice this year, resulting in a 3-1 loss.
- The offensive attack is led by senior Kelly Schuh who has 254 kills on the year, and is also in the top spot in the WIAC in terms of kills per set where she averages 3.57.
- Sophomore Jenny Smits leads the team in assists with 416. The team's other setter, Freshman Maggie Holcombe, has recorded 302 assists on the season.
- On the defensive side, sophomore Kelly Riesgraf leads the Blugolds in block with 46, followed by Freshman Mackenzee Pierog who has 45 of her own.
- Senior Lauren Sutherland has registered 373 digs on the year and her 5.12 digs per set average is good for second in the WIAC.

Moravian College Greyhounds

- The Greyhounds' last match was Wednesday night as they defeated Penn State Brandywine in straight sets.
- Sophomore Lauren Hostetler leads the team offensively with 227 kills on the season. Freshman Taylor Kornmann has contributed 212 kills of her on the season thus far and has a .314 hitting percentage, which is fifth in the Landmark Conference.
- Senior Kelly Brown has registered a whopping 777 assists on the season already for the Greyhounds, which is good enough for second in the Landmark.
- Defensively, freshman Kim Groff leads the team in digs with 314 and has 3.83 digs per set average which is fifth in the Landmark.

Hamline University Pipers
Record: 12-10 (3-3 MIAC)

- The Pipers lost their last match 3-1 on Wednesday night against Saint Mary's. It was a record night for Junior Lyndsey Reimer as she broke the team record for digs in a match with 36.
- Senior Sam Greeney-Hamlin paces the offense with 217 kills. Junior Stephanie Kaup is second on the team with 190 kills. Greeney-Hamline is fifth in the MIAC with a .340 hitting percentage.
- Senior Molly Hurrle has 600 assists on the season to lead the Pipers and is also third in the MIAC with a 10.71 assists per set average.
- The defensive side is led by Reimer who has 387 digs on the season, which is third in the MIAC. She also has a 4.96 digs per set average, which is good for fourth in the MIAC.
