DULUTH, Minn. (csssaints.com) – After splitting its first two Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) matches this past weekend, the St. Scholastica volleyball team will look to add two to the win column on the road as it travels to the University of Minnesota Morris and Crown College this weekend.

About the Saints
Record: 6-8, 1-1 UMAC

• All of the Saints wins this year have come in straight sets.
• After starting the season with four straight wins in New York, the Saints have won just two of their last 10 matches since returning to Midwest regional competition.
• With the loss to Northwestern last weekend, it was the Saints first home loss in over a year.
• Anna Zyvoloski (Sauk Rapids, Minn./St. Cloud Cathedral HS (Minn.-Duluth)) is ranked eighth in NCAA Division III with an average of 4.93 points per set.
• Zyvoloski reclaimed the lead in the UMAC in kills per set with 4.00 after this weekend.
• Zyvoloski is also third in both Hitting percentage and Service aces per set with .278 and .53 respectively.
• Erika Birkeland (Prior Lake, Minn./Prior Lake HS) is second in the UMAC with 9.43 assists per set.
• CSS is tied for third in the UMAC with a 1-1 record with three other teams.

About the Cougars
Record: 9-5, 1-1 UMAC

• Morris opened up the season winning six of their first seven matches and have since won four and lost four to have a record of 9-5.
• Hannah Knott is leading the UMAC with a hitting percentage of .324.
• Knott is second in the conference with 1.02 blocks per set.
• Mandy Allman and Brooke Decker have split setting duties and are averaging 10.86 assists/set.
• Kaylie Clark is digging 3.95 per set.
• Morris defeated Bethany Lutheran in three sets, but fell to Martin Luther by the same result this past weekend.

Series History: (CSS is 21-9 vs. Minn. Morris)
CSS has won 15 of the last 17 matches between these two teams, including all three of the four matches last season.  The Saints rallied to defeat the Cougars 3-2 in the UMAC semifinals to advance to the championship match last season.

About the Storm
Record: 2-13, 0-2 UMAC

• Crown's only wins this year came against Grace Bible College in the first two days of the season.
• The Storm was picked to finish in sixth place in the UMAC preseason coaches' poll.
• Crown is replacing 75 percent of their kills from a year ago.
• Trisha Birr is leading that reload with 2.30 kills per set.
• Judy Mundt is averaging four assists per set.
• The Storm fell to Bethany Lutheran in four sets and Martin Luther in three sets this past weekend.

Series History: (CSS is 23-0 vs. Crown)
CSS defeated Crown both times last season in three sets. Anna Zyvoloski (Sauk Rapids, Minn./St. Cloud Cathedral HS (Minn.-Duluth)) had double-doubles of 14 and 12 and 15 and 13 in the two matches respectively. The three set sweep to claim the season series capped off a 21-set win streak for the Saints last season.
