ONEONTA, N.Y. (csssaints.com) – Head St. Scholastica Volleyball Coach Dana Moore earned her 300th victory at CSS after the Saints swept both Houghton College (N.Y.) and St. Lawrence University (N.Y.) on Friday at the 43rd annual Oneonta State (N.Y.) Invitational.

The Saints opened the day with a three-set victory over the Houghton Highlanders 25-18, 25-16 and 25-21. Anna Zyvoloski (Sauk Rapids, Minn./St. Cloud Cathedral HS (Minn.-Duluth)) led the way with 15 kills, while Caitlin McKernon (Coon Rapids, Minn./Fridley HS) and Kortney Morrin (Grantsburg, Wis./Grantsburg HS (Northern State)) each added five kills apiece. McKernon also had five block assists. Erika Birkeland (Prior Lake, Minn./Prior Lake HS) had 34 assists and Danielle Benusa (Shakopee, Minn./Shakopee HS) led the way with nine digs.

Coach Moore's 300th win officially came against St. Lawrence University later in the day in the team's 26-24, 25-13, 25-17 win. Zyvoloski had 17 kills and 16 digs to pace the Saints, while Morrin added nine kills. Birkeland recorded 32 assists. CSS had six service aces in the match.

The Saints will now be grouped in the winners' bracket for tomorrow's two matches. Those pairings have not been announced at the time of this release.
