The Saints avoided a let down in Menomonie vs. a struggling UW-Stout team and came away with a 3-2 victory.  Chad Golanowski (Calgary, Alberta/Bishop Carroll HS (Calgary Canucks-AJHL) ), Paul Marcoux (Brandon, Manitoba /Vincent Massey Collegiate (Waywayseecappo-MJHL) ) and Brett Corcoran (Parksville, British Columbia/Ballenas Secondary (Trail Smoke-BCHL) ) all scored in the winning effort.

#13 St. Scholastica Saints (12-5-4, 7-3-4 NCHA)
The Saints look to be peaking at the right time as they have gone undefeated in their last seven games going into the final four games of the regular season … St. Scholastica's success hasn't gone unrecognized either as they are ranked 13th in the USCHO.com poll and 11th in the d3hockey.com poll … Corcoran continues to lead the team and conference as he's done all season with 15 goals and a 29 total points … Jeremy Dawes (Winnipeg, Manitoba/College Jeanne Suave (Portage-MJHL) ) sits in second with 23 points on 10 goals and 13 assists, while Tyler Miller (Fort Frances, Ontario/Rainy River HS (Thunder Bay-SIJHL) ) has 22 points on seven goals and a team best 15 assists … The other player with 20+ points is Carter Davis (Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan/Central Collegiate (Waywayseecappo-MJHL) ) with 21 on eight goals and 13 assists … Colin Rundell (Tees, Alberta/Lacombe Composite (Alaska-Fairbanks) ) has gotten most of the starts in goal and has made 456 saves on his way to a 9-5-4 record … The Saints lead the conference with a power-play percentage of .293, which is fourth-best in Division III converting 29 out of 99 opportunities.

UW-Stevens Point Pointers (10-8-3, 6-5-3 NCHA)
Stevens Point also seems to have the pedal on the gas late in the season as the team has gone 8-2-1 in the last 11 games … The Pointers are only three points behind the Saints and four points out of the conference lead … The Pointers have two players leading the way in scoring this season in Kyle Heck who has 13 goals and six assists for 19 points and Luke Nesper who has 17 points on six goals and 11 assists … Point also has five other players in double figures in points making for a well balanced offensive attack … Nick Graves and Brandon Jaeger have split time in goal for the Pointers this season … Graves has made 301 saves on his way to a 5-6-2 record and Jaeger has made 193 saves and has a 4-2-1 record … The two have combined for a .905 save percentage … The Pointers are ranked seventh in Division III on the penalty-kill with a .874 percentage.

#6 St. Norbert Green Knights (12-5-4, 9-4-1)
The Green Knights continue their terror in the NCHA sitting in first place late in the season once again … This year the defending NCAA Division III National Champion Green Knights have shown that even with a team that may not be as powerful as in past years, they can still pack a punch and lead the conference in the standings and multiple offensive stat categories … Johan Ryd leads the team with 28 total points on 12 goals and 16 assists … Behind him are Kyle Stroh and Cullen Bradshaw with 23 and 22 points, respectively … David Jacobsen has gotten the majority of the starts in goal for the Green Knights on his way to a 10-2-2 record and a conference best 1.92 goals against average, which ninth-best in the country … St. Norbert is ranked ninth in the country on the penalty-kill with a .872 percentage … The Green Knights will take on UW-Superior at Wessman Arena on Friday before traveling across the bridge to Duluth Saturday.
