PREVIEW: Men’s Basketball to Host UWS in New Year’s Eve Bridge Battle

DULUTH, Minn. (csssaints.com) – For the second consecutive year, the College of St. Scholastica men's basketball team will host rival University of Wisconsin-Superior on New Year's Eve at Reif Gymnasium. Tip time is scheduled for 6 p.m.

Record: 2-8, 0-0 UMAC

  • The Saints played their second home game of the season on Saturday and fell to Concordia College-Moorhead 81-59.
  • CSS led the Cobbers by one early in the second half, before Concordia used a 9-0 run midway through the half to pull away.

  • Jarrod Peterson led UWS in scoring in both games over the weekend with 21 and 17 points, respectively.
