PREVIEW: Men’s Basketball Flying to the Great Northwest for a Pair of Games

DULUTH, Minn. (csssaints.com) – The St. Scholastica men's basketball will take its longest road trip of the season when it heads to Tacoma, Washington to face Pacific Lutheran University on Monday and the University of Puget Sound on Tuesday.

About the Saints
Record: 1-5, 0-0 UMAC

  • The Saints picked up their first win of the season on Saturday with a 61-55 victory over Finlandia University (Mich.) in the home opener.
  • CSS scored a season-high 40 points in the first half of the Finlandia game.

  • The Lutes have lost two straight coming into Monday night's contest with their lone win coming against Evergreen State Thanksgiving Weekend.
  • Just before Christmas, Pacific Lutheran will make its way to the Midwest to face both Augsburg College and the University of Wisconsin-River Falls.
  • Cameron Schilling and Andrew Earnest lead the team in scoring, averaging 13.3 and 13.2 points respectively.
  • Schilling also averages a team-high 6.5 rebounds per game.
