Box Score MANKATO, Minn. (csssaints.com) – Catherine Fisco (Lakeville, Minn./Lakeville North HS) scored an early goal and Casey Mitchell (St. Cloud, Minn./St. Cloud Tech) tallied her 11th of the season as the St. Scholastica women's soccer team shut out Bethany Lutheran College 2-0 on Saturday afternoon to finish the regular season.

CSS jumped out to an early lead as Fisco tallied her second goal of the season to put the Saints up 1-0 just under ten minutes into the contest. Kelsey Kehtel (Duluth, Minn./Duluth East HS) and Andrea Beatt (Maple Grove, Minn./Maple Grove HS) were both credited with an assist on the Fisco goal.

The Saints would receive their second goal in the 37th minute as Mitchell found the back of the net off of a Logan Williamson (Bloomington, Minn./Jefferson HS) assist. Neither squad managed a goal in the second half, despite eight shots from the Saints and two from the Vikings.

Goalkeeper Kelsey Reeves (Eagle River, Alaska/Eagle River HS ) made one save in the shutout win for the Saints. The shutout is the fifth consecutive for the Saints, and their sixth in the last seven games.
