DULUTH, Minn. (csssaints.com) – The St. Scholastica volleyball team will host both Northland College and the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire on Wednesday night in the Reif Gymnasium.

Match Schedule:
CSS vs. Northland – 5 p.m.
Northland vs. UW-Eau Claire – approx. 6:30 p.m.
CSS vs. UW-Eau Claire – approx. 8 p.m.

  • The Saints are coming off a weekend sweep of the University of Minnesota Morris on Friday and Crown College on Saturday.
  • Friday's five-set, come-from-behind victory over Morris was the third time in the last four meetings the Saints have come from two sets down to defeat the Cougars.
  • The last four times CSS has come from two sets down to win have all come against Minnesota Morris.

  • According to the latest NCAA Division III rankings, Zyvoloski is ranked in the nation in points per set at 4.93 points per set.
  • Zyvoloski has been in double-figures in kills in 15 of the 16 matches this season.
  • Friday's win also saw season-highs in kills for freshmen Jen Hortness (Little Falls, Minn./Little Falls HS) (11) and Victoria Westlund (Turtle Lake, Wis./Turtle Lake HS) (11).
  • Setter Erika Birkeland (Prior Lake, Minn./Prior Lake HS) has a career-high 56 assists in the win over Morris on Friday.

  • Tayler Viegut leads the team with 130 kills on the year.

  • Over the last week, the Blugolds have recorded wins against Northwestern College, UW-River Falls and UW-Superior. All three teams have beaten the Saints this season.
  • Eau Claire is just 1-3 in true road matches and are 8-3 overall in neutral site contests.
  • Amy Bomgren leads the team with 298 kills this season.
  • Anne Satterlee (229) and Kelly Schuh (209) also have over 200 kills on the year.
