CSS Two-Deep vs. Lawrence
DULUTH, Minn. – The St. Scholastica football team will open up its fourth season on Saturday in Appleton, Wis. against Lawrence University. The players from the inaugural recruiting class are now seniors and are looking to close out their careers with a bang.
The Saints are picked to finish second in the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) behind defending champion Greenville College (Ill.), according to the preseason coaches' poll. D3football.com has predicted the Saints to go 10-0 this season and earn the league's automatic qualifier into the NCAA Playoffs. Saturday's game at Lawrence will be the lone non-conference game on the schedule. Last year, the Saints defeated the Vikings 31-24 at Public Schools Stadium.
Saturday's kickoff is scheduled for 1 p.m. at The Banta Bowl.
