St. Scholastica Saints (6-2-2, 2-2-2 NCHA)
The Saints are currently riding a five-game unbeaten streak with four wins and one tie during that stretch CSS sits just outside the USCHO.com Division III poll receiving 19 votes … In each of the past five seasons, the Saints have won at least one game against a team-ranked in the top five nationally … Brett Corcoran (Parksville, British Columbia/Ballenas Secondary (Trail Smoke-BCHL) ) has had a great start to the season by scoring a point in all ten games so far and leads the team with nine goals and is third on the team with eight assists … Five of his goals have come on the power play … Tyler Miller (Fort Frances, Ontario/Rainy River HS (Thunder Bay-SIJHL) ) has the lead in assists with 11 on the year …  21 of the 24 players on the roster have recorded points for the Saints, with 14 of those players scoring goals … Colin Rundell (Tees, Alberta/Lacombe Composite (Alaska-Fairbanks) ) has started six games in net making 199 saves on his way to a 3-2-2 record … As a team the Saints are netting 4.23 goals per game, while giving up just 2.95 … CSS was the only team to defeat the Green Knights when trailing after two periods last season … The Saints will be on the road for the next seven games and will not be back in Duluth until January 20th.

Unlike the Saints who have been home much of the early part of the season this will be just the Green Knights' fourth and fifth home games of the season and first since November 5th … The Knights are currently riding a 27-game home unbeaten streak, but had their 25-game home win streak snapped with a 2-2 tie to Gustavus Adolphus earlier this season … St. Norbert, the reigning Division III National Champion, was off last weekend and last played at the MCHA/NCHA Thanksgiving Showcase where it defeated Lawrence and tied Marian … Seth Soley is leading the team in goals with nine on the year … Johan Ryd has the lead in points and assists with 17 total points coming from 10 assists and seven goals … St. Norbert has used three goalies so far between the pipes with David Jacobson and Travis Bosch each logging over 273 minutes in net … Jacobson has a 1.42 goals against average, while the unit as a whole is giving up just 2.76 goals per game … As a team the Green Knights are scoring 4.27 goals per game.

Last Meeting: (CSS All-Time Record vs. St. Norbert: 9-40-3)
St. Norbert took two of three from the Saints last year on their way to the title. CSS has not won the season series with the Green Knights since the 1992-93 season where they went 3-0. This will be the 17th straight meeting the Saints have met the Knights when SNC has been ranked in the top five nationally. The Saints were the last team to defeat the Green Knights at the Cornerstone with a 4-3 overtime victory in 2009.
