Last Action:
The Saints fell behind by 17 points to Concordia College-Moorhead on Thursday night and cut the lead down to three on a few occasions, but the Cobbers hung on for the 67-61 victory. Brett Tester (Andover, Minn./Andover HS) led four Saints in double-figures with 18 points.

St. Scholastica Saints (1-8)
The Saints will be glad to see the year 2011 come to an end as in 23 games this calendar year CSS is just 7-16 and are 1-12 in its last 13 games  … Free throw shooting once again haunted the Saints on Thursday night at Concordia, shooting 12-for-24 from the charity stripe … The Saints have dropped below 60-percent as a team from the free throw line this season and sit well-below the program record for the lowest percentage for a season, which is currently 65-percent … CSS has defended the 3-point shot well this season, ranked 44th in the country in 3-point field goal defense (.288) …  In its last game against UW-Superior, CSS did a good job of taking care of the ball with a season-low nine turnovers … Derek Steve (St. Cloud, Minn./St. Cloud Apollo HS) had one of his best all-around games as a collegiate on Thursday, scoring 10 points with four assists and four steals … Chris Hamers (Onamia, Minn./Onamia HS) got hot in the second half from beyond the arc against the Cobbers and finished with 12 points, all on 3-point field goals … CSS will hope that hot shooting continues into Saturday's game.

UW-Superior Yellowjackets (8-4)
The Yellowjackets' last game was against the Saints on December 17th … The 'Jackets do not really have a bad loss all season with the four losses coming against Division II Minnesota-Duluth, a one-loss Edgewood College (Wis.) squad, and regional powers UW-Stevens Point and UW-La Crosse … UWS lost the La Crosse game at the buzzer on the road … UWS has already beaten two UMAC schools in Northwestern College and Northland College and have defeated Finlandia twice this season … Ben Aalfs leads the 'Jackets in scoring at 14.4 points per game … Aalfs had a team-high 23 points in the first meeting with the Saints … Seven-foot center Bronson Byrne also played a key role in the Yellowjackets' win over the Saints two weeks ago with 21 points and eight rebounds.

Last Meeting: (CSS All-Time Record vs. UW-Superior: 10-28)
The 'Jackets defeated the Saints two weeks ago in Superior by a score of 82-65. UWS used an early 18-2 run to pull ahead of the Saints for good. Tester led CSS with 23 points.
