Hardin-Simmons is the defending NCAA Division III National Champions, defeating Messiah 2-1 in the title game in its first Final Four appearance … Since falling in the season opener this season to Trinity, the Cowgirls have rattled off 19 in a row and lead the nation in scoring, averaging 5.65 goals per game … Hardin-Simmons defeated the University of Texas-Dallas in the ASC Championship game 2-0 on Sunday to receive the automatic qualifier … Other than Trinity, UT-Dallas has been the only team to play close with the Cowgirls this season … Katie Kuykendall leads the team with 18 goals and 50 points this season … Taylor Thigpen leads the team with 16 assists and is second in the country overall … In net Rebecca Roth has allowed just four goals all season and is third in Division III with a 0.26 goals-against-average.
