Last Action:  The Saints clinched the regular season conference championship and top seed in the tournament after beating Northwestern 3-1 last Saturday.

St. Scholastica Saints (24-6, 13-1 UMAC)
The Saints begin post-season play after a great regular season.  They not only beat a ranked St. Olaf team and a team from last year's national tournament in Nebraska Wesleyan, but also only lost one game in the conference to runner up Northwestern.  Anna Zyvoloski (Sauk Rapids, Minn./St. Cloud Cathedral HS (Minn.-Duluth)) led the way this regular season with 409 kills, 38 service aces and was second on the team with 71 blocks and 377 digs.  The lone senior Nikki Hughes (Lake Nebagamon, Wis./Northwestern HS) led the way in digs with 386, Sarah Kurtovich (Andover, Minn./Andover HS) had 740 assists and Megan Windschitl (Sartell, Minn./St. Cloud Cathedral HS) had 74 blocks.  Paige Hardy (Hibbing, Minn./Hibbing HS) was a solid player for the Saints once again with 324 kills, 266 digs and 24 service aces.  The Saints are currently on a 10-game winning streak and have won 24 of the last 25 sets played.

Minnesota-Morris Cougars (19-12, 8-6 UMAC)
The Cougars ended their season hot as well winning six of their last seven matches to earn the fourth seed in the UMAC tournament.  The Cougars were led this season by Kaylie Clark in both the kills category with 293 and the digs category with 400.  Natalie Thomas led the team with 1,072 set assists and 52 service aces.  Steph Schmiesing led the way with 58 blocks and Hannah Kott added 55 blocks of her own.  The Cougars look to improve their post-season play after falling short to Northwestern for the last three years.

Last Meeting: (CSS All-Time Record vs. Minnesota-Morris: 20-9)
The Saints and Cougars met in Morris earlier in October where the Saints came back from a 2-0 deficit to down the Cougars 3-2.  Hardy led the way with 23 kills and also earned her 1,000th career kill in this match.
