DULUTH, Minn. – For just the second weekend this season, the St. Scholastica volleyball team will be home when they host Martin Luther College and Bethany Lutheran College Friday night and Saturday afternoon, respectively, at Reif Gymnasium.

The Saints beat Presentation in straight sets last Saturday to finish up the road portion of their regular season schedule. On Friday night, the Saints rallied to beat Minnesota-Morris from two sets down (3-2); Paige Hardy (Hibbing, Minn./Hibbing HS) played a big role in the comeback by notching her 1,000 career kill.

St. Scholastica Saints (18-6, 8-1 UMAC)
The five-set come-from-behind victory over Minnesota-Morris on Friday night will look to springboard the Saints the rest of the regular season as they will play their final six matches of the regular season at home … The last time the Saints rallied from a two-set deficit to win in five sets was also against Minnesota-Morris back in 2009 … With a pair of wins this weekend, the Saints can clinch a spot in the UMAC Postseason Tournament … In the victory over Presentation last Saturday, the Saints had a season-best attack percentage of .410 …  Opponents continue to struggle to hit the ball against the Saints as conference teams, with the exception of Northwestern have all had a hitting percentage below .175 … Anna Zyvoloski (Sauk Rapids, Minn./St. Cloud Cathedral HS (Minn.-Duluth)) continues to pour it on this season with 316 kills and 308 digs … Paige Hardy (Hibbing, Minn./Hibbing HS)'s 1,024 career kills places her sixth all-time … Anna Zyvoloski (Sauk Rapids, Minn./St. Cloud Cathedral HS (Minn.-Duluth)) is ninth all-time with 819 kills in two seasons at CSS, but is only 11 behind Kathy Hazuka.

The Knights have won five of their last six matches and are currently third in the UMAC … Emily Boldt has led the Knights with 163 kills, but Rachel Hein is only four behind Boldt with 159 kills … The Knights are 31st in NCAA Division III in blocks per set (2.17) and Hein is 29th with 1.19 blocks per set … Jennifer Draeger is fourth in the UMAC with 288 digs … Last time the Knights beat the Saints was September 25, 2009 … Since then the Knights are 0-5 against CSS.
