WINONA, Minn. – While the St. Scholastica volleyball team split in their matches with Augsburg and Luther on day two of the Saint Mary's Sugar Loaf Classic, #Paige Hardy# (So.-Hibbing, Minn.) was named to the All-Tournament Team.

In the Saints' second meeting with Augsburg on the season, the two teams played through five close sets before the Auggies pulled off a victory, 9-25, 25-19, 25-23, 20-25, 15-10.

#Anna Zyvoloski# (So.-Sauk Rapids, Minn.) had 16 kills to lead the Saints offensively. Paige Hardy (Hibbing, Minn./Hibbing HS) had 11 kills and one service ace. #Emily Lindquist# (So.-Detroit Lakes, Minn.) had two service aces in the game.

CSS setter #Sarah Kurtovich# (So.-Andover, Minn.) had 50 assists in the match, while #Nikki Hughes# (Jr.-Lake Nebagamon, Wis.) added 25 digs for the Saints.

For Augsburg, Amanda Unze led the way with 15 kills, while All-Tournament team selection Katie Christensen had two service aces.

The Saints defeated 2009 NCAA tournament participant Luther College in straight sets in their fourth and final match at the Sugar Loaf Classic. Hannah Wilker led Luther offensively with 11 kills.

For CSS, Zyvoloski continued to shine with 12 kills. Kurtovich had 33 assists, and Hughes and Hardy each had 22 defensive digs.

CSS, now 5-2 on the young season, will compete in the Gustavus Classic next week, competing with conference foe Martin Luther and host-Gustavus Adolphus on Friday evening Sept. 10. The first match gets underway at 5 p.m. in St. Peter.
