STEVENS POINT, Wis. – The St. Scholastica volleyball team picked a bad night to have its lowest attack percentage of the season, falling to the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point in three sets on Tuesday.
The Saints (13-5) had a -.100 hitting percentage in the first set, falling 25-16. The Pointers (13-5) never trailed in the set.
CSS scored the first two points of the second set, but Point recorded eight of the final 12 points of the set to win going away 25-14.
The best set of the night for the Saints was the third with 10 kills and a .214 attack percentage, but it wasn't enough as the Pointers remained unbeaten at home this season, taking the set 25-17.
#Anna Zyvoloski# led the Saints with seven kills. #Sarah Kurtovich# had 19 set assists and #Nikki Hughes# had 13 digs.
