Danny Schmitz (Hinckley, Minn./Hinckley-Finlayson HS) was a second team All-UMAC choice last season after averaging 13.5 points per game … CSS also has #Jonah Dahlman#, #Derek Anderson#, and #Logan Schultz#, who all will see significant minutes this season … Tester led the Saints in scoring in their season opener with 20 points and four rebounds…Schmitz was right behind him with 19 points.
Concordia-Moorhead Cobbers (0-0)
Head Coach Rich Glas is in his third year as head coach with five players who have been in the starting line-up for the past three seasons … In their exhibition game vs. NDSU three Cobbers scored in double figures: Darren Olmscheid had 19, John Fraase has 17 and Karl Olson had 11. Fraase also led the Cobbers with 15 rebounds … Frasse was an All-Region selection last season … He has averaged double-digit points and rebounds the last two seasons and has posted 24 double-doubles in the past two years … The Cobbers will open the regular season Thursday night against Minnesota-Morris.
