DULUTH, Minn. – The St. Scholastica women's soccer team did not allow a single shot in a 7-0 defeat of Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) rival Crown College on Saturday afternoon as the Saints celebrated Homecoming on Saints Field.

The Saints' offense broke through early and often as they improved their season record to 6-4-1 (6-0-1 UMAC), while the Storm quietly fell to 2-5-0 on the season (1-3-0 UMAC).

Freshman #Maggie Dolan# got the scoring started in the 11th minute, scoring her first career goal with an assist from #Malia Grosskruetz#.

Less than 90 seconds later, her fellow freshman #Taylor Cunningham# got on the board, slipping an unassisted tally past the Storm goalkeeper.

An own-goal was charged to the Storm in the 34th minute, and #Kaylee Gombold# scored her third of the year to make it 4-0 Saints going into halftime. #Megan Marolt# and #Hannah Roy# had the assists.

The second half was far more evenly played despite the Saints holding Crown without a shot. #Andrea Beatt# extended the lead with an unassisted goal in the 53rd minute, her fifth on the season.

Marolt and Roy rounded out the Saints' scoring with goals of their own late in the game. #Rainee Eby# and #Kallie Thomas# had the assists for Marolt, while Grosskruetz got her second of the afternoon on the Roy goal.

#Molly Bergmann# extended the Saints' shutout streak to five-in-a-row as she improved her season record to 3-1-0. Her offense took 33 shots including 21 on net in support of the shutout.
