Both teams then had solid opportunities the rest of the half with the Auggies having the best chance, striking the post in then 82nd minute. However after 90 minutes the contest remained tied 1-1.

The Saints controlled the first 10-minute overtime session, gaining three corner kicks, but just putting one ball on net, which was denied as the game went to a second-and-final overtime.

CSS got a great chance in the first two minutes as #Megan Stingle# was stopped from point blank range by Augsburg 'keeper Katie Gajewski. Later in the overtime, after a Saints corner was punched out of play, Kaylee Gombold (Stillwater, Minn./Stillwater HS) played a ball to Andrea Beatt (Maple Grove, Minn./Maple Grove HS) and she hit a strike into the net with 1:51 left before a tie to give the Saints their first overtime victory of the season 2-1.
