FIVE WOMEN SCORE IN SAINTS' SEVENTH STRAIGHT SHUTOUT

ABERDEEN, S.D. – The St. Scholastica women's soccer team made it seven shutouts in a row as they defeated Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) rival Presentation College by a 6-0 final on Saturday afternoon.

CSS moves to 8-4-1 on the season (8-0-1 UMAC), while their rival Saints fall to 2-12-0 (0-8-0 UMAC).

Goalkeeper #Molly Bergmann# earned her third shutout of the season, making one save. CSS has now shut out opponents for the past 11 hours, 36 minutes, and seven seconds of game time.

#Claire Lubansky# and #Megan Stingle# led the Saints' offense with four points each. Lubansky netted two goals, one on a breakaway with an assist from #Malia Grosskreutz# and one from #Megan McCarthy#.

McCarthy also scored her first collegiate goal, courtesy of a Stingle corner kick, to finish with a three-point game.

#Taylor Cunningham# moved into a second-place tie on the season-scoring list with her sixth of the season, tying #Andrea Beatt# with 13 points on the season. #Rainee Eby# had the assist.

#Kaylee Gombold# finished off the scoring for the Saints with her fourth of the season. Stingle had the assist to conclude her four-point game.

The Saints will take on the University of Minnesota-Morris tomorrow afternoon in Morris, Minn. The action is set to begin at approximately 2 p.m., following the men's contest.
