ST. BONIFACIUS, Minn. – The St. Scholastica volleyball team continued its success over Crown College with a sweep over the Storm today.
The Saints are now 8-11 overall and 2-2 in the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC). The Storm falls to 3-14 overall and 0-4 in the conference. CSS has won all 19 matches against Crown.
The Storm scored the first four points of the first set, but the Saints woke up and went on to take the next nine consecutive points. CSS went on to take the first set 25-15.
St. Scholastica won the first four points of the second set, but Crown rallied and stayed with the Saints until CSS ultimately prevailed 25-19. The Saints used a 13-2 run in the third set to win the match going away 25-14.

So.-South Range, Wis./Northwestern) also had three service aces and 12 digs.
The Saints will be at home on Thursday and Friday when they host the University of Minnesota-Morris on Thursday and Presentation College on Friday. The Saints will “Dig Pink” each night in support of breast cancer awareness. Thursday's match against Minnesota-Morris will begin at 7 p.m. at Reif Gym in the Burns Wellness Commons.
