NEW ULM, Minn. – For the second consecutive day, the St. Scholastica women's soccer team won by a 6-0 mark, this time downing Martin Luther College on its Homecoming. 

The Saints improve to 10-3-2 overall and 8-0-1 in the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC). The Knights fall to 1-12 overall and 0-9 in the league. The Saints have allowed just one goal in the last nine matches and run their conference shutout streak to 795 minutes and 39 seconds. 

On a snowy day, the Saints scored 5:37 seconds into the match when #Jen Krokum# (Sr.-Duluth, Minn./East) added her second goal in as many days. #Rainee Eby# (Fr.-Billings, Mont.) scored her first collegiate goal three minutes later. #Melisa Entinger# (Sr.-Mound, Minn./Holy Trinity) assisted on the goal. 

Entinger added her team-high eighth goal of the season in the 21st minute to make it 3-0. In the 33rd minute #Katie Gaydos# (Sr.-Lino Lakes, Minn./Centennial) made it 4-0 with her second goal of the season. 

#Angie Groh# (Sr.-Andover, Minn./St. Francis) had her team-high 11th assist on the score. The final goal of the half came from #Ellyn Litecky# (Sr.-Duluth, Minn./East), who scored her second goal in as many days to give CSS a 5-0 halftime lead. 

The Saints managed just one goal in the second half as #Kaylee Gombold# (Fr.-Stillwater, Minn.) scored her fourth goal on the campaign to make the final 6-0. 

The Saints out-shot the Knights 31-0. #Erin Olejnicak# (So.-Brainerd, Minn.) earns her fourth shutout of the season. Abigail Horn stopped eight shots in the loss for the Knights. 

The Saints are back at home next weekend with matches against Crown College on Friday and Northwestern College on Saturday. The Friday match against Crown will begin at 1 p.m. at Saints Field. The action can be seen live courtesy of the iFan Sports Network at csssaints.com.
