Jeffries enters his first season on the Saints coaching staff in 2027, brining several years of collegiate playing experience and a strong background in player development to the program.Â
A native of Vancouver, Washington, Jeffries attended Union High School before continuing his playing career at Shasta College. During his two seasons at Shasta, Jeffries appeared in 29 games and logged more than 90 innings on the mound, earning All-Conference Honorable Mention honors.
Jeffries then transferred to the College of Saint Scholastica, where he pitched for the Saints from 2023-25. Over his three seasons in a Saints uniform, Jeffries became an anchor of the pitching staff, combining for 110 innings pitched.
During his senior season in 2025, Jeffries recorded 45.2 innings with 45 strikeouts and a 4.73 ERA. He also served as a team captain, providing leadership both on and off the field.
Following his playing career, Jeffries began his coaching career with Duluth 709, a local youth baseball organization where he spent three years working with young athletes.
In his first season on the Saints coaching staff, Jeffries will primarily work with the pitching staff, helping develop the next generation of Saints pitchers while bringing a player perspective from his time in the program.
